Website Editing & Client Access Disclaimer
Where MONOCROW provides clients with access to co-manage or edit their website, all changes made independently by the client are done at their own discretion and risk. MONOCROW accepts no liability for any errors, disruptions, code conflicts, or functionality issues resulting from client-made edits.
Clients are responsible for thoroughly reviewing any changes across both desktop and mobile devices prior to publishing. It is expected that edits remain within reasonable ability, limited to content updates such as photography, copywriting, and minor layout adjustments.
Clients must not alter or interfere with structural elements, custom code, links, URLS, integrations, or third-party systems, as these may impact broader site performance and functionality. Any issues arising from client modifications, including the need for restoration, troubleshooting, or redevelopment, will be rectified by MONOCROW and billed at an hourly rate.
Maintenance & Error Resolution Timeframes
Any maintenance, troubleshooting, or error resolution required as a result of client-made edits will be scheduled in accordance with MONOCROW’s existing workload and prioritised alongside active client projects. As such, immediate fixes or urgent turnaround times cannot be guaranteed.
Where expedited support or priority scheduling is requested, this will be subject to an additional fee and availability. MONOCROW reserves the right to apply rush rates for any work requiring reallocation of resources or out-of-scope prioritisation.
Ongoing support, updates, or technical assistance are not included unless otherwise agreed. All support requests are subject to MONOCROW’s standard hourly rates.
Third Party Integrations
MONOCROW is not responsible for issues arising from third-party platforms, plugins, applications, or integrations, including those impacted by client edits, updates, or external system changes.
Any access granted to third parties by the client is done at the client’s own risk. MONOCROW is not liable for errors, damages, or conflicts caused by external collaborators.
Previous Versions
MONOCROW is not responsible for reverting or recreating previous versions of the website where changes have been made by the client. We do not do backups on current websites. Edit at your own risk.
MONOCROW is not responsible for performance issues, including slow load times or display inconsistencies, resulting from client-uploaded content or edits.
MONOCROW is not liable for errors or disruptions caused by platform, theme, or plugin updates outside of an active maintenance agreement.
Client Editing Capability & Training Disclaimer
MONOCROW does not provide training, education, or guidance on how to build, edit, or manipulate websites unless explicitly agreed to in writing as part of a separate service.
Clients are expected to be honest in their capabilities and only make edits within their level of understanding. Any decision to access and modify the website is made at the client’s own discretion, and it is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate knowledge or have taken the necessary time to learn how to use the platform correctly.
MONOCROW is not liable for errors, damage, or functionality issues resulting from a client’s lack of experience or misuse of the website interface. Requests for instruction, walkthroughs, or technical guidance will be treated as additional work and billed at MONOCROW’s standard hourly rate.
By accessing and editing the website, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
